people in charge are too lazy to anything good with it
I’m gonna begrudgingly stick with it until it ends because even though it sucks I haven’t found anything else that has that great premise and basic format that initially drew me in so I’m just fucking stuck here
Blaine deciding to transfer from his elite private school to some nowheresville public school so he could be with his boyfriend and his parents were never even mentioned
when tina knocked her head on the bottom of a fountain and woke up as rachel
When Schu decided that the show choir should do the school musical, picked Rocky Horror Show, cast almost everyone in roles they weren’t comfortable with so they quit, leaving him to act out almost all the male roles with teenage girls.
When Sue tried to ban twerking and also prohibit a trans student from using any restroom but a question-mark-covered portajohn, so Schu put on a whole thing about the history of dance and how the waltz used to be considered sexual so clearly twerking teens were fine…then agreed to trade away the ‘right to twerk’ for letting the trans student use the restroom and that was some kind of noble sacrifice.
what was the first show y’all broke up with…you know like the first show you had that was your everything for a good amount of time and then it fucked up so bad that like you felt your heart breaking with sadness, disappointment and hurt and then you vowed never to see it again? i’ll start mine was shame/ess
The never-ending pile of happy endings at the conclusion of Glee’s TV run easily stretched into the ridiculous, with flash-forward titles like “Superintendent Will Schuester,” “Vice President Sue Sylvester,” and “Tony winner Rachel Berry.” But at least standing alongside the happy couples like Mr. Schu and Emma and Rachel and Jesse are Kurt and Blaine. The teenage sweethearts got married a few episodes prior, horning in on Santana and Brittany’s nuptials to make for not just a gay wedding, but a double gay wedding. “Klaine” then go on to become successful theatrical superstars, and Rachel even agrees to carry their baby for them as surrogate. Of all of Glee’s over-the-top, neatly tied-up endings, after their frequent breakups, Kurt and Blaine’s ride off into the sunset may have been the most satisfying. [Gwen Ihnat]
