Australian politics is wild

Our old Prime Minister, Malcolm Turnbull, got booted out by a leadership spill and so the dude resigned from politics. This meant that his seat in a place called Wentworth, which has been Liberal since fucking federation, was up for grabs. An openly gay woman just got elected as the Wentworth representative and now the Liberals have lost their majority in parliament.

So tl;Dr our right wing piece of shit government decided Mr Malcom Do-nothing was doing nothing and fired him so now they lost one of their safest seat to a woman who gave her acceptance speech with her wife next to her and now we have a hung parliament
