Five times this week where Malcolm Turnbull reached extra levels of petty that I aspire to
- Surprising everyone with a leadership spill, knowing that his opposition hadn’t fully prepared and didn’t yet have the numbers
- Refusing the call another party meeting so nobody could challenge his leadership
- Insisting his opposers bring him a petition of 43 signatures before he calls another meeting
- When he was brought the petition, making the whip call each number personally to confirm the signatures weren’t faked
- Now that he’s lost his leadership, announcing he will resign from parliament, losing the Liberal party’s majority. Therefore (probably) triggering a new election, and (hopefully) kicking the Liberals out of leadership
