so steve rogers announces he’s writing a book……and everyone expects it to be a super serious, extra grim and all shades of dark. he’s riding the fugitive train, he’s been seen sporting the almost black with grime uniform, he’s been labeled anti-american bc he’s not wearing the striped…… and then its published, and it turns out its a super wholesome picture book with his own sketches and photography, describing things he loves about the future and the people in it, happy stories about his mother and growing up in nyc with bucky, detailing his favorite recipes and places to sit and watch the sun rise….all of which makes him who he really is. its not about captain america, nor the uniform, its about steve rogers
