steve rogers spent most of infinity war scowling and glaring at being wary, like he doesn’t stop frowning ONCE in infinity war, and then he sees bucky and then he can’t get his eyes off of bucky even though he just met him last week and then he’s smiling with his eyes all crinkly and soft and hugs bucky and his voice is also all soft and then bucky’s out of his sight and he’s frowning again

bucky barnes spent most of infinity war being a Sad Gay™ and being wary and tired of everything looking like he hasn’t had a shower in two weeks, and then he finds out that steve is coming and he showers and washes his hair, trims his beard and his all soft and smile-y and he’s making jokes and he hugs his husband and they both make soft heart eyes at each other. then steve is out of his sight and he’s frowning again

in infinity war steve didn’t just lose his best friend and husband, he lost the only person who makes everything bad just melt away in his company, he lost the only person who can make him go all soft and loving and smile-y bcos they love each other so much and now they finally have each other back
